Just Asking
Class Size Matters should have their say?
Class Size Matters got 115,000 signatures to put a proposal on the ballot to form a new City Charter Commission, not to directly amend the City Charter, so it cannot be pushed off the ballot by the recommendations of the Mayor's Commission to hold non-partisan elections. Why didnt the Mayor just go along with this proposal to plan for smaller classes as a sign of good faith? why is he and Chancellor Joel Klein so opposed to the planning of class size, while at the same time saying they support it?
