To Lessen the Toll of High Stakes Testing on Curriculum, Why Not Align the Two?
Teachers, administrators and parents across the US are complaining that the implementation of No Child Left Behind and a policy of determining school standing through high stakes testing is allowing for less time to be devoted to curriculum and learning.
Aren't such tests actually determining how well the teacher taught the material? Why not create tests based upon curriculum and learning |
