Just Asking
Are There any Public Schools Successfully Using Computer Technology as a Tool For Curriculum Support? If so, Where?
Parents and children in New York public schools have contacted The E-Accountability Foundation with complaints about computer class being a time to look out the window (the computers are not working), the teacher knowing less than the student in using the internet, and students being told there just are no staff available to fix the machines. There does not seem to be a coherent strategy to integrate computers into the curriculum.
And then of course there is the E-rate scandal and whistleblower Frank Mosco's story to keep us guessing how much is, indeed, insufficient funds due to fiscal austerity, or just plain fraud. |
