We celebrate the alliance of the Internet with the awareness that for too many years people elected to publicly-funded positions have promoted policies that do not serve the public interest. We challenge those who believe they can continue to violate the public trust to stop and listen to the buzz of millions of people visiting websites, emailing each other, blogging and chatting online about what is going on behind closed doors. We promise to hold you responsible for your actions.
We call this process "e-accountability".

The justices on Tuesday declined to hear an appeal challenging the admissions policy at a competitive Virginia public high school that uses socio-economic factors to diversify its student body. That announcement came just weeks after the court refused to stop West Point from using race as a factor in deciding who to admit to the military academy

Public school parents in a school district must be partners with education politicians who fund and/or design policy. When designing public policy for public schools in New York City, education leaders and legislators should examine the circumstances of each school district and its population first, then design strategies to fit the needs of the students in that particular school or district. We believe in bottom-up policy implementation rather than top-down strategies. Diversity cannot be considered or supported when public policy takes on a "for all" designation. Not in New York City. The Heritage Foundation's Oversight Project obtained an email which showed that The Anti-Defamation League flags "online amplifiers of LGBTO+hate" as extremists to be examined by law enforcement. The Daily Signal, Heritage's news outlet, posted that "The revelation indicates that the Anti-Defamation League, “the leading anti-hate organization in the world,” is specifically pushing law enforcement to scrutinize viral dissenters against transgender ideology, such as The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh and The Manhattan Institute’s Chris Rufo. From Betsy Combier: "Where do free speech and the Constitution's First Amendment stand on this issue? We believe that all voices need to be heard as long as the statement does not go beyond just the opinion and cites ways to shut down or physically harm the speaker. However, parents have the right to filter information that goes to their children.

While the struggling U.S. Army continues to fail to retain and recruit service members, it has a new tactic: Extend an olive branch to the same uniformed personnel who were punished for refusing the COVID-19 shot. That supposed olive branch, however, is being mocked and scorned.

Parents in Maryland are fighting back against the Montgomery County Board of Education for forcing pre-K and elementary-aged children to read controversial books that promote a one-sided transgender ideology, encourage gender transitioning, and focus excessively on romance—with no parental notification or opportunity to opt out. Parents from a variety of faiths— including Islam, Catholicism, and Orthodox Christianity—are united in seeking to guarantee their children an age-appropriate education that is consistent with their faith and sound science. These parents are simply asking to be notified when the books will be read to their children and to be given an opportunity to opt out. The Court found no basis for their Motion under a rational basis review which “requires only that the [challenged state action] be shown to bear some rational relationship to legitimate state purposes.”

Heather Jansen was appointed principal of PS 46 in Staten Island, NY in September 2021. When she started working there she held a staff meeting where she told staff that the school was “racist” because all of the staff were white folk. She enlisted a group of students in 2nd-4th grades to report on teachers and these children were rewarded for their work as her “little investigators.” What they complained about became charges against the teacher. The process of creating charges used to be under the authority of the adults in the building or parents, so Jansen added a whole new dimension by adding children’s complaints to the mix.

I debated not answering your venom-filled email sent to me but I see no other way to protect your future clients. In my opinion, I believe no hate-filled bully such as you should be allowed to spread lies about anyone, at any time, and I will do whatever I can to stop your destruction of people’s trust.

When a worker is seriously or even fatally injured on the job, their family is often left trying to pick up the pieces while simultaneously dealing with a steep change to their own financial situation. These injuries can leave an individual out of work for extended periods of time, and recovery does not always guarantee that the injured worker will return to the same position or the same pay rate. That can be a daunting prospect for families, especially those with young children who wish to attend college or vocational school one day. That’s why Kids’ Chance of America works diligently to provide these kids with exactly that — a chance at an education.
